The Vans Style 36 made its debut in 1977 and evolved into the Old Skool silhouette. It was the first Vans shoe to feature a jazz-stripe on the side panels, a detail inspired by the doodles of co-founder Paul Van Doren. This model revives the 1978 model’s original design lines, including the original stitching pattern and reinforced toe cap. This colorway features a Marshmallow canvas upper with a Dress Blues jazz-stripe and Marshmallow suede on the toe cap, eyelets and heel. The shoe also comes with a vulcanized rubber midsole and classic waffle outsole.
